BOADAS 1880, S.A. has received aid for the project titled “Energy consumption reduction in industrial processes, facilities, and machinery” within the call for the Financial Support program, innovation and sustainability plans in the Manufacturing Industry sector 2022 from the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism, co-financed by the European Union’s Recovery and Resilience Mechanism.
The project consisted of reducing energy consumption in various industrial processes, facilities, and machinery, such as: improving the energy efficiency of the slicing room, the deboning room, the slicing and packaging process for hams and cured meats, as well as the automatic boxing process, and installing high-efficiency LED lighting in room coverings and in the washing process.
